GREENWASTE AND WOODWASTE

Greenwaste and woodwaste consist of natural vegetative matter and woody material resulting from landscaping, yard maintenance, pruning, trimming, gardening, and land-clearing activities, provided such waste is not hazardous as defined in California Code of Regulations, Title 22 § 66261.3 et seq. This includes, but is not limited to, leaves, weeds, plant trimmings, hedge and shrub cuttings, vine and ivy trimmings, pruning waste, tree material such as branches, limbs, stumps, and trunks generated during routine residential and commercial landscape maintenance, as well as clean, untreated, and unpainted lumber, pallets, and wood pieces.

Waste must be free of dirt, soil, sod, palm, rocks, and other debris to qualify for these rates. Loads containing such material will be classified as C&D and charged at the C&D rate.
